The chance discovery at a Welsh pub which brought down a massive drugs gang

The leader of a drugs gang who sought to control the heroin and cocaine market across a large part of Wales has been jailed for 10 years. Aled Gray, who owned a couple of pubs, admitted conspiring to supply both class A drugs and was sent down alongside another 26 conspirators. They ran a drugs ring worth millions, joining forces with a similar gang and sourcing “industrial quantities” of drugs from gangs in Liverpool and Manchester.
