Cannabis producer found with knife is spared prison for second time


A convicted cannabis producer who was found with a kitchen knife after crashing into two parked cars has avoided jail for a second time.

Morgan Liam Greenwood, 47, was subject to a suspended prison sentence when police chased him along New Line in Bacup, reaching 60mph in a 30mph zone, a court heard.

The short pursuit ended when Greenwood’s Vauxhall Astra collided with two parked cars after going round a bend.

When police searched his car they found a serrated kitchen knife in the driver’s door pocket.
