‘Unsophisticated’ cannabis operation comes to end outside police station

A small-time cannabis dealer was nabbed by police after being found with the drug – while outside a Taranaki police station.

Samuel Lewis Pepperell-Carr had about 18.5 grams of the drug divided up into “deal bags” while outside the Inglewood Police Station.

It was about 8pm on April 13 and the 22-year-old was being assisted by police with an unrelated matter, the New Plymouth District Court heard.
