Sixty-eight pounds of marijuana and cocaine worth $1million washes up on Alabama beach over two days


Cocaine and marijuana worth more than $1million washed up on an Alabama beach last week, just days before families celebrated Memorial Day weekend.

One package containing 21 pounds of cannabis and a kilogram of cocaine was discovered at Orange Beach on Tuesday.

It was found on the sand by beachgoers in the Gulf of Mexico about 50 miles southeast of Mobile.

Shocked locals notified police about the find in front of the Lei Lani Condominium.

But on Thursday more cocaine washed up, this time a whopping 38 kilograms.

The package was discovered outside Phoenix 10 Condominium, near the Flora-Bama Lounge, about a 15-minute walk from the first location.
