Government issues a call out for a cannabis expert with ‘proven experience’


The New Zealand government has advertised a job opening for a cannabis expert who must have ‘proven experience’ in their field, ahead of the upcoming referendum on legalising the drug.

A prospective candidate can expect a salary of almost $200,000 annually in return for their unconventional expertise.

The job opening comes shortly after Justice Minister Andrew Little said the country will hold a non-binding referendum on the legalisation of cannabis in 2020.
