A cannabis addict was ordered to keep almost £20,000 worth of cocaine in his home by ‘remorseless’ dealers after racking up drug debts, a court heard.

Shaun Linekar, 29, was told he must store 150g of the class A drug as well as a kilo of amphetamine in his home or he would be hurt, Manchester Crown Court was told.

Police were called to his home in Gorton to an unrelated incident and found the drugs, at about 4pm on September 2, 2017.

The cocaine was of high purity, and said to be worth £19,500.

They also recovered a kilo of amphetamine from the freezer, 23 MDMA tablets and a quantity of class C drug Subutex.
