Colorado State Troopers seize 173 pounds of suspected marijuana from U-Haul rental van near Eagle


On May at approximately 9:50 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol stopped a GMC U-Haul rental van for a traffic violation near Eagle, according to a news release by the State Patrol.

During the stop, the trooper observed several large boxes in the rear of the rental van and the odor of marijuana coming from the van, according to the release. The driver was identified as Megan Meyer, 28, of Greeley, who informed the trooper they were transporting the boxes from Colorado to Las Vegas, says the release.
