220 kilograms: investigators secure marijuana worth 2.2 million


Dresden (AP) – Dresdner Customs Investigators has succeeded in striking an international drug dealer ring.
They ensured 220 kilograms of marijuana with a sales value of about 2.2 million euros, as state prosecutor and customs investigation office in Dresden communicate.
They also seized 35,000 euros in cash, a car and a semitrailer.
It is the largest seized amount of marijuana in the past ten years, said the spokesman for the Customs Department Dresden, Frank Schröter.
