Checking for the occupants to ensure their safety, they came across a room transformed into a cannabis factory, where young plants were growing. Upstairs, three large rooms packed with fully-grown plants were revealed. It’s estimated that just 25 cannabis plants – enough to fit onto a typical kitchen table – can generate up to £40,000 per year if harvested every three months. The officers shared the video of their spoils on Twitter and explained that the investigation was in its ‘early stages’ but ‘fingers crossed… one or two arrests’ would come from it.
