Organised crime ‘disrupted’ in the south after series of police raids

Eleven people have been arrested after police seized drugs, firearms and stolen property in a series of raids across the south. Acting detective Sergeant Matt Wyatt, of Invercargill, said eight warrants were executed over 10 days targeting organised criminal networks and serious offending.  One search warrant was executed in Queenstown, two in Gore and five in Invercargill. Those arrested included gang members and associates, Wyatt said.
