Leah Bracknell has started new treatment in her clinical trial to slow the progress of the cancer she has been fighting for more than two years.

The ex-Emmerdale star, who played Zoe Tate in the ITV soap, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2016 and was told it was terminal by doctors treating her.

Since then, the actress turned yoga teacher has been getting to grips with her cancer battle, using positive thinking, meditation and nourishing food along with the medical treatment she’s been receiving.

Leah was admitted on to a clinical trial last summer, and found the first stage had stabilised what should have been an aggressive progression of the cancer.

Leah has been using cannabis oil to treat her pain since being diagnosed
