Man remanded for trafficking hemp


A Federal High Court in Ibadan on Tuesday remanded Fatai Lawal in prison for trafficking 34.4 kg of hemp. Justice P.I. Ajoku remanded Lawal after he changed his plea from not guilty to guilty to a two-count charge bordering on trafficking of an illicit drug. Ajoku remanded him and adjourned the case until May 9 for review of facts and sentencing.
