Morocco: police confiscate 1.6 tons of cannabis in Fez during anti-drug operation


(MENAFN) On Monday, the Moroccan police detained a drug trafficking team in the northern city of Fez and confiscated 1.6 tons of cannabis. The barred substance was on board two cars, the police stated in statement, adding that the operation also resulted in the detention of three suspects with several judicial antecedents. The police confiscated shooting rifle, ammunition, knives and amounts of money, the statement noted.
